Enactus Dallas Fall Training Conference, Sept. 25, 2015

Some Entrepreneurship Club members attended the Dallas Fall Training Conference organized by Enactus. This year’s sponsors were Walmart and Sam’s Club. Our club members had the chance to meet with executives of both companies. During the event, a small group of Enactus students from different universities was offered a Summer Field Internship at Sam’s Club. A Field Internship Program is the first step to starting a career with Sam’s Club that may lead to a full time management role. The Vice President of Entrepreneurship Club and a member of Enactus, Victoria Hoscher, was offered a summer internship with Sam’s Club. She was chosen to tour a local Sam’s Club and Walmart Store with executives from both Walmart and Sam’s Club to learn about the operations. After her interview with executives she was offered the job “Summer 2016 Field Internship” in front of the audience of students, faculty advisors and executives.
